About me
My name is Oisin Bourke. I am from Ireland, but I lived in Japan with my family
for many years.
I studied the Shakuhachi every week for three and a half years under a a licensed teacher of the Myoan style.
This style focusses on the meditative pieces used for suizen.
I learned pieces for the first two levels ; hirayurushi and shoden, twelve pieces in all.
I also teach and practice a traditional form of Japanese jujutsu known as Daito Ryu Aiki jujutsu
for many years.
